Costco, a physical store with a paid membership system in the United States, is about to officially land in Shanghai. Looking back at its American counterpart, Amazon, which announced its withdrawal from the Chinese market not long ago, will its fax number database fate be different if it retreats and advances? The loneliness of Amazon’s defeat in China is still vivid in my mind, but its American counterpart, Costco, is coming to Shanghai to land its first store on the mainland. It is reported that Costco, an American paid membership store, will open its first store in Shanghai this year. Unlike Amazon, which is an online paid membership, Costco is an offline paid membership. One is an e-commerce business and the other is a brick-and-mortar store, but both are essentially paid membership retailers, and both are born in response to the fax number database consumption habits of the US retail market. But looking back at Amazon, after 15 years of ups and downs in China, it was still a "bamboo basket to draw water", and nothing was taken away, so they had to flee China in a hurry. Could it be said that Costco, which has the same roots as Amazon, can surpass its predecessors, take root in the unpredictable market of China, and stage a fax number database retail miracle? It's almost impossible, after all, Costco has too many problems that it can't solve. Stupid Costco Before landing in Shanghai this time, Costco has already expanded its business to Taiwan, China, and has developed on a certain scale. But in recent years, with regard to Taiwan, Costco has made some unforgivable mistakes.
